Birthday

Priest: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

People: And upon us weak and sinful, His mercy and compassion be showered in both worlds forever.

Heavenly Father, you are the source of light and life. You have blessed us with life and life in abundance. We thank and praise You on the birthday of Your children. We praise You for Your countless blessings to Your servants and for being with them through their days. Grant them Your love, care and protection
through their life. Lord, You be their master, guide and guardian in weal and woe; console and help them out in trying times and situations. Save them from
accidents, dangers, ailments, poverty, selfishness and all evil. Give them goodwill to share with others the blessings that they have received from You.

Remove from them pain and discomfort of the body, mind and spirit and protect them from the snares of Satan and also the difficulties and hurdles caused by
evil men. Give them the strength to confront and overcome difficult situations in life with courage and unflinching faith in you. May the guardian angels
protect them and may they be brought up as children of light. Keep them in peace and contentment under Your loving care. Bless them to grow in faith and
glow in Godly love. Bless and increase their earnings. May they also be blessed with life in the eternal kingdom.

Your servants have completed yet another year in their life. Enable them to step into the new year with earnest resolution and vision, confirmed in faith, hope and charity. Let the rest of their lives be under your benign love and care; and let them declare boldly with their Psalmist:

"Lord, my future is in your hands
How wonderful are your gifts to me
How good they are"

We entreat Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God and all saints to pray for these our brethren. We will together raise up glory and thanksgiving to You, Your Father and Your Holy Spirit, now and for ever. ……………Amen.
