1.Mount Tabor Convent,Pathanapuram:

Thoma Mar Dionysios started in 1925 Mount Tabor Convent in Pathanapuram. Its objective is to lead a life of sacrifice by taking the vows of obedience, chastity and poverty. 56 sisters are engaged in service here.
This convent is running schools and Hospitals. Mother Susanna (1925-81), Sr.Priscilla (1981-84), Sr. Sheeba (1984-90), Sr. Mariam (1990-93), Sr. Sophia (1993-96) had held its charge at different times. From 1996 Sr. Smony is the Superior. The branches of Mount Tabor Convent are there in: Thengoli, Meppadi, and Thirchirapalli.

2. St. Mary's Convent,Othara:

In October 1993, K.M. Annamma (Mother Hannah) founded the St. Mary's Convent (Martha Mariam Mandiram) at Kozhimala in Othara. Its objective is to enhance the spiritual development of women in the Malankara Church. Here 15 people are actively enaged. St. Mary's U.P.School (1938), Nursery School (1997) are being run. Mother Hanna (1973-75), and Mother Mary (1975-90) have held charge of the convent. Since 1990 Mother Shino is the Superior.

3. St. Mary's Convent,Thumpamon:

In 1940 under aegis of the Thumpamon diocese, the Marthamariam Mandiram was founded in Thumpamon. It was founded with the ardent desire of upgrading it into a convent. On 5 March 1996, Metropolitan Philipose Mar Eusebios conferred the holy robes on 7 workers and the Mandiram was elevated to convent. Currently there are 9 members. Sr. Mariam is the Mother Superior. The convent is running a primary school and a centre for training in tailoring. Diocesan Marthamariam Samajam, Yuvathi Samajam and Balika Samajam have their head offices here. Camps, study classes and Retreats are being held here.

4. Bethlhem Convent.Kizhekambalam:

The Bethlehem Convent, which is located in Kizhekambalam on the Ernakulam - Mvattupuzha road, was established in 1937. Its objective is to enable those women who deserve to lead an ascetic life to reside here and engage them in charitable service. 34 members are involved in such service. The first superior was Mother Elishaba (1937-73). Later Mother Sara (1973-78) was in charge. Since 1978Mother Elizabeth is the superior. Njarellore Bethlehem Girl's High School (1953), Balikamandiram (1981) and Hostel (1971) are functioning under its aegis.

5. Bethany Convent,Perunad:

Alexios Mar Thevodosios started the Ranni- Perunad Bethany Convent in May 1942. Its objective was to set up educational institutions, hospitals and also to be engaged in social service. There are 29 people serving here. Bethany L.P School (1956) High School (1989), Hospital (1968), Boarding Home (1960), Old Age Home (Hannah Bhavan) (1988) are run by them. The branches of Bethany convent are to be found in Kottayam and Kunnamkulam.
Sr. Hannah (1950-60), Sr. Deena (1960-66), Sr. Hannah (1966-87), Sr. Sarah (1987-89) and Dr. Elizabeth (1989-95) have held charge of this convent. Since 1995 Sr. Sophia holds the main charges.

6. Mary Magdalene Convent , Aduputti.

Mary Magdalene Convent was founded at Chiralayeth, Kunnamkulam on 3 April 1961. It was shifted to Aduputti in Kunnamkulam on 28 December 1967. Its objectives are imparting education to section of people in backward areas and doing social welfare activities. There are 20 members actively involved in the convent.
Since 1961 Mother Yohana is holding charge. One U.P School, two L.P. School, two nursery schools and one boarding school are the institutions functioning under the cnvent.

7. Nazareth Convent,Kadambanad:

Sr.Elizabeth and Sr. Mariam jointly started Nazareth Convent in Kadambanad on 6 December 1965. Its objectives are setting up hospitals, encouraging monastic life and disciplined worship. The convent has 24 members. Sr. Mariam, Sr. Elizabeth (1965-87), Sr. Hannah 1987-93), and Sr. Esther (1993- 96) have held charge at different times. Since 1996 Sr. Hannah is the Superior. A home for orphans and old women (1982), Nazareth Sunday School (1965) and St. Joseph's School are the institutions functioning under the convent.

8. Baselel Convent,Sooranad:

Ramban Burskeepa founded the Baselel Convent in Sooranad, Kollam. The objectives of this convent were to provide refuge to dependent women and to run homes for nuns and homes for young girls.10 people are currently serving there. It is running the Baselel English Medium School (1979) and a Tailoring School (1995). Mother Sloma (1967-86), Sr Elizabeth (1986-88), Sr. Pheba (1988-90) and Sr. Julithy (1990-96) have held its charge at different times. since 1996 Sr. Pheba is holding the main charge.

9. St. Mary's Convent,Adoor.

In 1975 Mother Rachel founded St. Mary's Convent at Adoor. Serving the Church and service in hospital are its objectives. Seven people are currently serving there. St. Mary's parallel women's College (1975) and Nursery School are functioning under its aegis. Since 1975 Mother Rachel is its Superior.

10. Gethsemone Convent,Aadhicanalloor:

Metrpolitan Mathews Mar Coorilose (His Holiness Baselios Mar Thoma Mathews II Catholicose) started on 15 September 1977 the Gethsemone Convent at Aadhichan- alloor in Kollam. Its objectives are to set up homes for nuns and homes for young girls. Four people are currently serving there. St. George L.P. School (1997), Tailoring School (1996) are run by the Convent. Mother Sosamma (1977-86). Sr. Sarah (1986-88) has held its charge. Since 1988 Sr. Elizheba is its chief office bearer.

11. Mount Pisgah Convent,Puhupadys

Metropolitan Geevarghese Mar Osthathios founded on 10 September 1978 the Mount Pisgah Convent at Puthupady in Kozhikode. Its objectives are to spread the Gospel, set up hospitals and to give job orientation to its inmates. 12 people are currently serving there. Village girls are taught tailoring free of fees. A Balika Bhavan is being conducted under the aegis of convent. The ascetic community is known as The Sisters of Missionaries of Christ (SMC). sr. Annamma (Superior), Sr. Rebeca (Secretary) are the chief office bearers now.

12. Mount Carmel Convent ,Kizhekekallada:

Metropolitan Mathews Mar Coorilose (His Holiness Beselios Mar Thoma Mathews II Catholicos) started in 1982 the Mount Carmel Convent at Chittumala in Kizhekallada, kollam. Its objectives are to set up ascetic organization in the name of Elia, the prophet and to run hospitals and educational institutions. Five people are currently serving there. Since 1982 Sr. Sarah is holding the main charge.

13. Holy Cross Convent,Sreekariyam:

Metropolitan Geevarghese Mar Dioscoros started in 1986 the Holy Cross Convent in Thiruvananthapuram. Its inmates are known as ' Daughters of the order of the Cross'. It strives at worship, study and community work. There are 7 persons currently serving the convent. In 1982 the Holy Cross convent in Kumarapuram was housed in a rented building. In 1986 it was shifted to Tabor Gir in Sreekariyam. The Balabhavan for the Physically Handicapped started under the responsibility of the Holy Cross Sisters is the first endeavour in the field of service to the handicapped taken up by the Malankara Orthodox Church. This was started on 9 march 1986. One High School is also run for the education of the handicapped. Sr. Mariam (Sr. in. charge) and Sr. Sarah (Secretary) are holding its charge now.

14. St. Thomas Convent, Bhilai:

In 1989, Metropolitan Stephanos Mar Thevodosios founded the St. Thomas convent in Bhilai. It strives at educational and social welfare activities. There are six people currently serving. Sr. Repha is holding its charge now.

15. St. Basil Convent,Kottarakara.

On 18 October 1989 His Holiness Baselios Mar Thoma Mathews II Catholicos started the St. Basil Convent in Kottarakara. Its objective is to conduct educational institutions, social service and set up old age homes. 11 people are serving there now. The convent runs Shanti Bhavan, Craft School, Hostel and Balika Bhavan. Sr. Deena is the Superior.
