Very.Rev.Remban Theophorus Cor Eppiscopa, A senior Remban and Cor-Eppiscopa of Malankara Orthodox Church, a native of Kerala, India, was born on August 9, 1922, the son of Mr.T.O Chacko and Mrs.Sosamma Thazhathedathu Kulanjikombil, Arattupuzha. After attending schools, he completed Bsc from University College, Trivandrum and completed theological studies from Bishops College, Calcutta. He was ordained as Deacon on 25th November 1948 by His Holiness Beselios Geevarghese and as priest in 1960 by His Holiness Catholicos Geevarghese Baselios II at Old Seminary, Kottayam.During 1946 he was in Malyasia, and worked two years in Govt.Registration Department.In 1948,he returned to Kerala and completed the works of Puthencavu Metropolitan School and joined as a teacher in the same School.In 1953 he joined Pathanamthitta Catholicate High School, and at the same year he worked as Diocesan Secratary of Thumpamon diocese.In 1955 he went to England for Higher Studies at Canterboury St.Augestin College.He visited almost all the Europian Contries.He returned back to India and worked as General Secretary of Youth Movement.
